Robbie Greene had flirted with a perfect game many times during the 2020-21 bowling season. And with the season winding down, it appeared the left-hander wasn’t going to record bowling’s milestone score.
He broke through on Tuesday night at Tropic Lanes.
Greene strung together 12 consecutive strikes to snag his third career
300 game during mixed-league action. His perfecto came in the second of three games. This was Greene’s first 300 game since 2018.
Greene had a 246 in the first game and a 226 in the last game to finish with a 772 series.
For the season, Greene is averaging 220 in the Tuesday mixed league.
