Aug. 10 1955 (Scotia City, California) — July 22, 2021 (Anchor Point, Alaska)

“A good name is better than good oil, and the day of death is better than the day of birth.” ~ Ecclesiastes 7:1

Why would the Bible say that the day of one’s death would be better than the day of one’s birth? A person is not born with a good name. Instead, it is during the course of his life that he gains a reputation with real meaning. His name identifies him as to his personal qualities. Clancy had made that good name with Jehovah God and with many who knew him.

If he knew someone was in true need, Clancy wanted to help. He was known to provide clothing, housing, cash, and both mental and emotional support. He shared his skills and went out of his way to make sure people got what they needed. For others, he shared his knowledge of what the Bible really teaches. In that way, he could help offer true comfort and hope to those searching for answers.

Clancy’s family and friends are confident that they will see him again when the scriptures are soon fulfilled and he is resurrected to life on a paradise earth. If you would like to know more about that hope, please visit www.jw.org to request a free home Bible study. His greatest wish was for his loved ones to be present at his resurrection.

Clancy left behind a family that loves and misses him dearly.
