Kenneth Creamer died April 18, 2021, in Nampa, Idaho, surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 82.
Ken moved to Alaska as a young adult, living in Kodiak, Juneau, Dutch Harbor and Sitka. He met his wife Norma and her son Duane in Kodiak.
Ken’s fulfilled life was not only as a husband, father and grandpa but also partaking several leadership positions in the Alaska State Troopers, U.S. Marine Corps and National Marine Fisheries.
Ken was a proud and active member of the Masonic Lodge: Scottish Rite Mason for nearly 40 years, a Knight of the Royal Order of Scotland and Mt. Verstovia Lodge #18 in Sitka, and an active member of the Valley of Juneau Masonic Lodge.
Ken was a proud and witty man who always had a good joke and liked to keep everyone laughing.
He will be missed greatly and never forgotten by his wife, Norma Creamer, of 50 years, son Duane Seehafer (Laurie), granddaughters Nicole and Erika, and many other family members and lifelong friends. Kodiak family includes Norma’s sister, Becky Mahle, and her children Lee, Charlie and Teri Schneider.
A memorial service will be held at the Sitka National Cemetery on June 18, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., with a celebration of life to follow at Pioneer Park.
