The husband-wife duo of Brett and Kriss Larsen cruised to victories in the 13th Stuart Lutton Golf Tournament Sunday at the Bear Valley Golf Course.

Brett won his first Lutton title since 2011 by firing a six-over-par, 36-hole total of 150, while Kriss captured her eighth title with a score of 177.

Brett shot a magnificent 33 on Saturday’s back nine to finish the first day with a 74 — two strokes ahead of Dustin Roberson, the 2012 Lutton champion.

Brett put the lead out of reach by posting a 38 on Sunday’s front nine, while Roberson shot a 45.

Sam Manivong, who carded a 78 on the first day, shot an 83 on Sunday to slide into second with a total of 161 — one shot ahead of Roberson, who finished third.

Kriss was consistent both days, carding an 89 on Saturday and an 88 on Sunday for total of 177 — 24 shots ahead of Susan Schmeisser, the only other woman competitor.

Lonnie White won the men’s first flight with a total of 175, one shot ahead of runner-up finisher Al Skaw. Steve O’Brien captured the men’s second flight with a 187.

This was the first Stuart Lutton Tournament since 2012. Lutton was a manager at Kodiak King Crab and head of Ocean Beauty Alaska before he died in 1993.
