Even though Dustin was taken from us too soon, he will always be remembered for his love of the sea, fishing, boats and the outdoors. His passion for all of these started at a very early age and he grew to be a top hand on many Kodiak-based boats in the fishing fleet. He will be loved and remembered for his smile and easygoing way.
He is survived by his parents Randy Eisenhauer (wife Barbara Rhodes) of Elizabeth City, NC; Rhea Ozawa (fiancé Wade Cratty) of Anchorage; his older brother Commander William E. Seward (wife Cary) of Clearwater, Florida; Paula L. Davis (husband Rob) of Anchorage, Alaska; and Carmen G. Tufo (husband Joseph) of Watertown, New York. He also leaves behind his paternal Grandmother, Lucy Howard, five nephews, one niece, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday June 20, 2014 at The Cremation Society of Alaska, 7216 Lake Otis Parkway in Anchorage. His remains will be honorably brought out to sea by his Captain James Stevens on the F/V Alaskan Star. James will be escorting Dustin's mother to put him to rest in the place he loved the most at a later date.
