Monday, April 21

• Alaska State Troopers received a report of a Kodiak bear killing domesticated fowl in the Woodland Acres subdivision. Alaska Wildlife Troopers and an Alaska Department of Fish and Game bear biologist responded to the area and while on scene, the bear was possibly shot by a resident of Kodiak. AWT and ADFG are currently attempting to locate the bear, which is believed to be wounded.

• At 10:19 a.m., troopers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle which was observed being driven by a 22-year-old female resident of Kodiak. She was known by troopers to have a revoked driver's license. Investigation revealed she was operating a vehicle while her license was revoked and was placed under arrest and transported to the Kodiak City Jail where she was remanded for her charge on $500 bail pending arraignment.

Tuesday, April 22

• At 5:38 p.m., troopers received a report of a disturbance involving a knife at a residence in Kodiak. Investigation revealed a 20-year-old male resident of Kodiak threatened two family members with a large knife while under the influence of alcohol. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Kodiak City Jail to be remanded on the charge of domestic violence assault in the third degree and minor consuming alcohol. He was held without bail pending arraignment.
