• At 12:43 a.m., a 911 caller reported loud music on Selief Lane. The music fan turned down the noise when officers requested.

• At 1:07 a.m., a man was arrested on Marine Way west for a bench warrant.

• At 4:18 a.m., a man was advised against urinating in public on Marine Way West.

• At 6:57 a.m., an officer was unable to catch a loose dog on Mill Bay Road.

• At 10:35 a.m., a caller reported a forklift in the way on East Marine Way. The owner was prompted to move it.

• At 1:09 p.m., a vehicle was cited on Marine Way East for a traffic offense.

• At 1:58 p.m., an officer on Mission Road advised a dog owner of the city’s leash law.

• At 3:21 p.m., an officer was unable to find a loose dog at the corner of Von Scheele Way and Selief Lane.

• At 3:26 a.m., an officer was unable to find a loose dog on Selief Lane.

• At 4:04 p.m., a woman called to report a loose dog bit her dog on its rear on Baranof Street. The case was forwarded to the animal control officer.

• At 4:37 p.m., a woman called police for advice after hearing a report of her husband’s unfaithfulness.

• At 4:42 p.m., a caller on Cope Street said new tenants were not parking legally. They were.

• At 4:46 p.m., an officer noted new graffiti at Baranof Park.

• At 7:07 p.m., a 911 caller said her sister was unable to move her car on West Rezanof Drive because others parked too close. She later was able to move it.

• At 7:54 p.m., a man was arrested on Larch Street for failure to appear in court.

• At 8:05 p.m., an officer herded a deer off a Kodiak street.

• At 10:31 p.m., a caller reported a vehicle driving fast and recklessly up Pillar Mountain Road; the vehicle could not be found.

• At 10:59 p.m., an officer encountered a suspicious vehicle on Pillar Mountain Road. It was a family looking for an escaped puppy.

• At 11:41 p.m., juveniles at Rotary Park were taken to their parents for breaking curfew.

• At 11:52 p.m., a caller on Ismailov Street reported possible fireworks coming from a nearby home. All was OK.

 

Thursday, July 19

• At 2:11 a.m., someone reported vandalized signs at the corner of Rezanof Drive and Center Ave. The signs were fixed.

• At 2:31 a.m., a vehicle was investigated for a traffic offense on Shelikof Street. All was OK.

• At 2:53 a.m., a domestic violence call resulted in a woman being arrested for violating probation on Larch Street.

• At 3:21 a.m., a 911 caller reported a man kept pounding on his door and would not leave when told he had the wrong house. The man left before officers arrived.

• At 7:32 a.m., an officer moved a disabled vehicle out of the road at Puffin Drive and Curlew Way.

• At 9:42 a.m., an officer was unable to catch a loose dog on Pillar Mountain Road.

• At 9:47 a.m., a caller asked for assistance moving a car blocking his ability to relocate a banya. The car’s driver moved the car.

• At 9:50 a.m., an officer red-tagged a vehicle on Thorsheim Street.

• At 10:52 a.m., a vehicle was cited on Marine Way for a traffic offense.

• At 10:55 a.m., an officer was unable to find a loose dog on Powell Avenue.

• At 11:01 a.m., a caller reported a dangerous driver heading into town on Spruce Cape Road; the vehicle could not be found.

• At 11:11 a.m., a caller on Larch Street said her oil tank was “ripped off.” An investigation found the damage looked old, and the tank was still full.

• At 1:06 p.m., a vehicle was cited on Marine Way for a traffic offense.
