For the third straight week, Kodiak’s basketball teams were left out of the weekly Alaska Association of Basketball Coaches poll.

The Bears’ Northern Lights Conference counterparts were not.

Four NLC teams are represented in the poll.

Wasilla remained the top team in the 4A girls rankings with a 5-1 record.

The Warriors posted an impressive 20-point NLC victory over Palmer on Tuesday.

Today and Saturday, Wasilla plays at Barrow, the top-ranked 3A team in the state.

Despite the loss, the Moose still jumped one spot in the rankings from fourth to third.

Palmer is at a tournament in Thunder Mountain this weekend.

Colony slid two spots to No. 4 after splitting a pair of games with Juneau-Douglas last Friday and Saturday.

West Valley moved to No. 2 this week, while Dimond remained fifth.
