KODIAK — With Thanksgiving coming up, the 2018 Kodiak Turkey Trot 5K and two mile run might provide an incentive to prepare for the holiday dinner.

The Turkey Trot starts at the Kodiak Teen Center, 410 Cedar St. Registration begins at 9:15 a.m. and the race starts at 10 a.m.

Prizes are given to the winner of each age group and best Thanksgiving Day hat. There will also be a random drawing. 

Registration costs are $5 for children and $10 for adults. Proceeds go to support the Kodiak High School cross country team.
