In late November, a group of Coast Guard hockey players lost to city players 15-5.

Today, the Coast Guard is hoping for a better showing.

The second Coastie vs. Townie hockey game of the ice season begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Baranof Park Ice Rink.

“We have never done it where we did one at the beginning of the season and one at the end of the season,” ice rink manager Courtney Webster said. “It will be kind of cool to see how they progressed over the season.”

The game is divided into three 20-minute periods.

This will be one of the final events for the ice rink this season, as the rink will close at 9:30 p.m. Sunday, April 1.
