Kodiak’s girls were on the verge of snapping an eight-game losing skid; then the tide turned in favor of Palmer in the second half.

The Moose overcame an 11-point, first-half deficit to upend the Bears 40-36 in a nonconference basketball game on the second day of the Dimond Lady Lynx Prep Shootout Tournament Thursday in Anchorage.
