Shooters talk during the Kodiak Island Sportsman’s Association 3-gun series event Saturday at Salonie Range. 

Justin Paneda was on target at the last Kodiak Island Sportsman’s Association 3-gun series event. 

Paneda did not miss a shot in racking up 634.2 points during Saturday’s event at the Salonie Creek Range. He out-shot 16 other competitors. The runner-up finisher was 103 points back and hit at an 82% clip. 

Competitors were given 75 rounds with a pistol, 100 rounds with a rifle and 25 shells with a shot gun. 

This was the fourth of five shoots. The final 3-gun series event is Sept. 14.
