Rod Kiefer added to his Tropic Lanes perfect game record on Tuesday during mixed league play.
The veteran bowler rolled his 19th 300 game, a house record. Harry Mickelson, a former member of Team USA bowling, is second with 10 perfect games.
Kiefer’s perfecto — 12 straight strikes — came in the second of three games. He ended with a 687 series.
Kiefer, who sports a 210 average in Tuesday’s mixed league, pumped his arm when his final ball struck all 10 pins and then was bombarded with high fives from fellow bowlers.
This is the second 300 game bowled at Tropics this season. Jennifer Gunderson rolled the first on Feb. 7. Gunderson joined Sandy Vinberg as the only women to bowl 300 games at Tropics. Vinberg rolled hers in 1993.
Tyler Steele and Stefan Macahilas, who has eight 300 games, have both recorded 299 games this season.
