The Kodiak High School tennis team travels to Homer Saturday to play members of the Homer Tennis Association. The Bears are taking seven players. This is the second year Kodiak has traveled to Homer to play the association. “It really is important,” Kodiak coach Steve Johnston said. “The Anchorage teams always get to play each other and that really helps them ... We are going to play till everybody is tired.”

skills,” she said. (Derek Clarkston photo)
