Kodiak's Trevor Dunbar concluded his European tour on Saturday by winning the 5,000-meter "B" race at the KBC Night of Athletics Meet in Belgium.

Dunbar won the heat with a time of 13 minutes, 39.33 seconds, well short of his personal-best time of 13:26.29 that he posted at last month's NCAA National Championships.

The winning "A" heat time was 13:06.71.

Earlier this month in Europe, Dunbar set personal records in both the mile and the 3,000.

A few days before his last race in Europe, Flynn Sports Management announced that Dunbar had signed a professional contract with Nike. In the release, Dunbar said he will continue to live in Eugene and train under Andy Powell, an assistant coach at Oregon.
