Coming off of a bye, Alysa Horn played two games in three days last week in the women’s Queensland Basketball League in Australia.

Her team, Logan, came out victorious in both, beating Suncoast Clippers, 78-57, and Gold Coast Rollers, 66-62.

Horn, a former Kodiak High School and University of Alaska Anchorage standout, struggled in both outings. She combined to miss all 12 of her shots from the field and only tallied two points — both from the free-throw line.

Horn added seven rebounds and three steals.

For the season, Horn is averaging 9 points and 8.1 rebounds in 12 games. Logan is 6-7 and is ninth in the 14-team league.

Horn, a 2008 graduate of Kodiak High, ended her UAA career in 2013 in the top 10 on the school’s all-time list for points (9th, 1,134), rebounds (8th, 639) and blocks (9th, 59).

She finished her second professional season in Germany in May, leading Osnabruck to the North Division title in the Bundelsiga second division.
