The foursome of Kriss Larsen, Brett Larsen, Tom Knoke and John Sullivan won the Kodiak Boosters Club’s Tee Off for Kids golf tournament Saturday at the Bear Valley Golf Course.

Kris Sockwell, Guy Huey, Dustin Roberson and Matt Zinn placed second, while Brett Bass, Alan Skaw, Ron Sternberg and Mike Kane were third.

Huey and Edwina Horn won the men’s and women’s longest drive award, while Brett Larsen and Susan Weirres captured the men’s and women’s closest to the pin award.

The red lantern went to the team of Jessica Weirres, Susan Weirres and Alison Horn.

The team of Sharon Horn, Edwina Horn and Jennifer Smith recorded the least amount of putts.

All proceeds from the best-ball tournament will be used to support youth activities at Kodiak High School.

Last year, the Booster Club put over $70,000 toward student activities, club president Bob Brodie said.

Brodie said the club is also looking for volunteers to work at the Bears Den during the school year.
