Alec Canete-Hall, a former Kodiak High School basketball star, is participating in Lower 48 tournaments over the next two weeks as a member of Team 907 Blue.

Team 907 features high school players from across the state, including Barrow sensation Kamaka Hepa.

The team kicked off its tour last weekend at the Nor Cal Summer Tip Off and will also play in a tournament in Anaheim, California (July 15-19) and Las Vegas, Nevada (July 22-26).

Canete-Hall played for Kodiak as a freshman and sophomore before transferring to East Anchorage last season. He helped lead the T-Birds to a runner-up state finish.
