Ruth Dela Cruz filled the statistical sheet in Kodiak’s 3-1 (25-13, 26-24, 22-25, 25-13) Northern Lights Conference volleyball victory at Kenai on Thursday.

The senior setter ended with 19 digs, 12 assists, eight kills and five service aces to push Kodiak to 1-2 in the NLC.  

Senior Kyla Nocon was not to be outdone, picking up 22 digs, 12 assists and eight kills. 

Junior Kathryn Carstens added eight kills, while  senior defensive specialist Jesse Macariola chipped in 29 digs. 

Kenai dropped to 0-4 in the NLC. 

Today, the Bears play Soldotna before finishing the trip with matches against Kenai and Soldotna on Saturday.
