Kodiak High School's hoops squad swept Wasilla Friday evening. 

The girls snapped an eight-game losing skid to Wasilla with a 50-29 Northern Lights Conference victory at Kodiak High.

The boys clinched at least a second seed in the NLC tournament with a victory at Wasilla.

Hannah Wandersee led Kodiak's girls with 19 points, while Carissa Cannon added 14 points.

The Bears improved to 21-0, 9-0 in the NLC.

The boys improved to 7-2 in the NLC and can clinch the conference's top seed with another victory over Wasilla on Saturday.
