• At 2:49 a.m., police responded to a bear sighting in the 300 block of Von Scheele Way. A juvenile bear was raiding loose bags of trash that were left outside of the bear-resistant dumpster. The officer fired cracker rounds and the bear left.

• At 1:36 p.m., officers marked tires on an abandoned vehicle on Larch Street.

• At 7:38 p.m., a caller reported being bit by her dog. It’s under investigation.

• At 7:47 p.m., police ticketed a driver on Mill Bay Road for having no proof of insurance and violation of driver’s license restrictions.
