Four Northern Lights Conference teams appear in the second Alaska Association of Basketball Coaches high school poll that was released Wednesday.

The Wasilla boys are ranked second in the 4A state poll, while the Wasilla girls are tops, followed by Colony at second and Palmer in fourth.

Topping the boys list is Service. Dimond is third, Juneau-Douglas fourth and Bartlett fifth.

On the girls side, West Valley is third and Dimond is fifth.

Kodiak’s boys and girls were not ranked for the second straight week. The boys are 1-0 heading into today’s Joe Floyd/Era Aviation Winter Classic Basketball Tournament, while the girls are 2-2. Neither team has faced an Alaska ranked team this season. The girls did lose last week to Cascade, Oregon’s top-ranked 4A squad.
