Rick Kalil captured the 2014 Kodiak Golf Association Crab Festival Tournament title Sunday at the Bear Valley Golf Course.

Kalil shot a 77 to finish two strokes ahead of runner-up Dan McFarland. Karl McLaughlin finished third, three strokes back.

Justin Rose captured the first-flight title with an 84, while Mark Gladu was second with an 85 and Neil Russell third with an 86.

Frankie Brown won the second flight with a 98. Wesley Lewis shot a 100 and finished second, winning a tiebreaker over Gary Peterson.

Sam Manivong won the long-drive competition, while R. Johnson was the closest to the pin.

Tennis

Derrik Magnuson was a double-winner at the Crab Festival Tennis Tournament.

Magnuson captured the men’s singles title with a 6-2, 7-5 win over Justin Rose and teamed with Steve Johnston to defeat Craig Johnson and Dana Reid, 6-3, 6-1, to win the men’s doubles title.

Cindy Bachini edged Amy Whitmore, 6-7, 7-6, 10-9, in the women’s championship match.

Ray Salgatar beat Fisher Gandel, 6-1, 6-0, to claim the juniors title, while Ryan Guevarra and James Guilas defeated Nate Canete and Ephrim Ocampo, 6-4, 2-6, 11-9, to win the juniors doubles title.
