Vice Adm. Paul Zukunft, commander, Coast Guard Pacific Area, presents the award of the Coast Guard Air Medal to Lt. John Filipowicz, an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter pilot at Air Station Kodiak, joined by his wife, Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, in Kodiak, Alaska.
