Rollers plunging for money
Members of the Rock Island Rollers are trading their skates for swimsuits on Saturday. The team is plunging into the ocean as a fundraiser for the Kodiak Women’s Resource Crisis Center. Kodiak sets rainfall record
The Emerald Isle got a bit soggy on Wednesday. Kodiak broke a 46-year-old rainfall record for Feb. 26 with 2.51 inches, making it the ninth-wettest single February day in Kodiak history, according to the National Weather Service.
