Students at North Star Elementary School are being warned to take precautions after a young adult bear was spotted near the school. Alaska State Troopers: Jan. 30
Tuesday, Jan. 28 At 7:54 a.m. Alaska State Troopers stopped a 28-year-old Kodiak man who was driving a 2002 Chevrolet truck on Mill Bay Road with a Montana license plate and an Alaska license plate. He had a revoked driver’s license in Alaska because he previously had a revoked license out of Montana, troopers said. He was arrested and taken to the Kodiak jail where he was held on $500 bail.
