Cargo crewman medevaced by Kodiak Coast Guardsmen
A 56-year-old Filipino man has cause to be thankful today after being pulled from a ship 115 miles south of Kodiak on Wednesday. A US Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk rescued the man from the 958-foot container ship Sea Land Charger after the ship reported he fell about 10 feet, injuring his head and right eye.
