Seafood company indicted for waste, oil discharge near Kodiak
An Anchorage grand jury indicted East West Seafoods, LLC, this summer on four counts of allegedly illegally dumping oil and raw sewage into waters around the Kodiak Archipelago, including in St. Paul Harbor, near Ouzinkie and between Long Island and Spruce Island. Troopers seek info on vandalized truck
Alaska State Troopers responded to a vandalism report Saturday and found a truck with its windshield and rear window broken, according to a trooper report. DOT issues campaign sign law reminder
The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities has issued a reminder of campaign signage laws as elections approach.
