Police have suspect in downtown beating case
Leads in the recent case of a man found beaten in Kodiak have led police to a suspect, according to Kodiak Police Chief Ronda Wallace. Kodiak resident Steven West, 53, was found by a passer-by in the 400 block of Marine Way late Saturday, Feb. 22.
