Haiyan benefit concert scheduled for auditorium
A famed Filipino pop singer will visit Kodiak to host a benefit concert for victims of Typhoon Haiyan. Kitchie Nadal, a multiplatinum artist in the Philippines, will perform at 7 p.m. Feb. 28 in the Gerald C. Wilson Auditorium and again at 6 p.m. March 1 in Anchorage. KPD makes $120,000 drug bust
The Kodiak Police Department has seized more than $120,000 in meth, heroin and cocaine from an Anchorage man and a Missouri man staying in a Kodiak hotel.
