Where is all the snow?
Last winter, Kodiak was buried in snow. This winter, flakes are few and far between at sea level. School bus pulled from ditch
The First Student school bus that rolled into a ditch on Chiniak Highway on Monday has been recovered, and the cause of the incident is under investigation. When the bus rolled around 4:30 p.m., the only person on board was the driver, who was wearing his seatbelt and only suffered from a minor cut on his head.
