Museum receives grant for basket repair
The Baranov Museum has been awarded a $9,500 grant to mend some of its aging baskets. The museum received the grant from the Museums Alaska Collections Management Fund to complete conservation work on its collection of baskets from the Alutiiq and Unangan cultural regions.
