Soccer club kicks into gear
On a blustery Tuesday afternoon, with snow flurries swirling in the air, nine players kicked soccer balls around a cold Joe Floyd Track and Field.
The nine were representing Kodiak High School’s soccer club. The club formed last spring and practiced whenever they could.
“We practiced in the gym during lunch,” coach Eric Waltenbaugh said. “That was the only time we could get gym space.”
