Kodiakans in Mayor’s Marathon
Kodiak High School teacher Lindsey Glenn led a Kodiak contingent of runners at last Saturday’s Mayor’s Marathon and half-marathon in Anchorage. Glenn finished the marathon in 5 hours, 1 minute, 32 seconds to place 196th in the women’s division. Renee Sullivan was 205th (5:03:10) and Heather Lewis was 215th (5:08:40). This artist’s conception shows the proposed third launch pad at the Alaska Aerospace Corporation’s Kodiak Launch Complex on Narrow Cape. On the launch pad is a Lockeed Martin Athena III medium-lift rocket.
