A preliminary hearing for Michael J. Daquioag Monday was continued until March 27 at 2:30 p.m. due to the state’s need to collect evidence and information concerning the case, according to Daquioag’s attorney Andrew Ott.

About nine people showed up to attend the hearing and Daquioag appeared in good spirits by waving to people in the courtroom before the hearing commenced.

Daquioag, 56, is charged with sex abuse of a minor, exploitation of a minor and possession of child pornography stemming from alleged incidents that took place over a year between August 2012 and June 2013.
