Margaret (Gray) Hall turns 100

More than 100 people joined Margaret Hall and her family at the Afognak Center on Near Island to celebrate her 100th birthday Saturday.

Hall was born June 15, 1919, the same day the first nonstop Atlantic flight landed in Ireland. In elementary school, Hall met Amelia Earhart, as well as joined Helen Keller on stage to demonstrate how she communicated.
