Sunday, May 26

• At 12:36 a.m., two men were arrested for disorderly conduct.

• At 12:50 a.m., a 911 caller reported a man was hit by a vehicle and had an ankle injury. The victim refused transportation.

• At 12:54 a.m., a caller reported a neighbor was having a party and it was too loud. Officers were busy at the time of the call, but all was quiet when they arrived.

• At 1:41 a.m., a woman flagged down an officer to report a possible REDDI vehicle. Officers had no contact with the described vehicle.

• At 1:45 a.m. and 2:04 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 1:54 a.m., a caller reported fireworks. Officers could not locate the source.

• At 3:16 a.m., an officer asked a man to leave a property.

• At 3:29 a.m., a woman said there was a fight and a woman was hit in the head with a beer bottle. The accused attacker was arrested for third-degree domestic violence assault.

• At 3:40 a.m., a lost man flagged down an officer. The officer helped him.

• At 4:03 a.m., a man refused to leave an establishment so security threw him out.

• At 4:16 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 4:28 a.m., a caller reported an intoxicated person was walking and stumbling on Rezanof Drive. An officer searched the area, but found no one.

• At 4:43 a.m., an officer reported hearing a scream from the plaza area, but was unable to locate the source.

• At 10:29 a.m., a woman reported she hit a deer. Officers removed it from the roadway and notified a local charity.

• At 11:14 a.m., a caller requested traffic control for the Pillar Mountain race, and then called back to cancel the request.

• At 12:43 p.m., 1:26 p.m., 2:16 p.m., 3:01 p.m., and 4:45 p.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 3:54 p.m., a caller reported a locked and reinforced door had been ripped from a shed. The damage was done last year and parks and recreation was aware.

• At 4:38 p.m., a man was given 24 hours to show proof of insurance.

• At 5:31 p.m., a 911 caller reported a group of men had open containers. The parties left when an officer asked them to.

• At 6:39 p.m., a man refused to stay with his third-party custodian so he went back to jail.

• At 7:18 p.m., a caller reported a vehicle was driving down the road with someone on the hood. They were gone when officers arrived.

• At 8:13 p.m., a caller reported an electronic notebook had been stolen. She called back and said she had found it.

• At 9:11 p.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 9:47 p.m., a caller reported two men were hanging out in a lobby. Both men left when an officer asked them to.

• At 10:06 p.m., a woman received a citation for no proof of insurance and expired registration.

• At 10:27 p.m., a caller reported the neighbor’s dog was barking incessantly. Dispatch contacted the owner.

Monday, May 27

• At 12:15 a.m., a 911 caller reported a man threatened to beat him up, and was still in the building. The man was gone when officers arrived, so they told the caller his options.

• At 12:33 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 12:59 a.m., officers asked two men to leave a lobby.

• At 5:23 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 5:43 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Chichenof Street.

• At 7:49 a.m., a caller reported a vehicle was parked in her driveway. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived.

• At 10:50 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 3:28 p.m., a caller reported two intoxicated men were passed out in the public restrooms. Neither man met protective custody criteria, and they left when an officer asked them to.

• At 4:53 p.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 6:28 p.m., an officer tried to catch a loose dog, but it ran away.

• At 10:22 p.m., a man reported his gun accidentally discharged while he was cleaning it. There were no injuries.

Tuesday, May 28

•At 3:18 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

•At 3:30 a.m., a man received a citation for no insurance, driving without a valid license and a defective taillight.

•At 3:31 a.m., an officer removed a man who was sleeping in a lobby.

•At 4:06 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Chichenof Street.

•At 4:14 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Simeonoff Street.

•At 4:28 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Center Avenue.

•At 5 a.m., a caller reported her adult daughter was missing. The daughter was found OK, and went home with her mother.

•At 7:52 a.m., a caller turned in a wallet. It was put into property for safekeeping.

•At 8:38 a.m., a caller reported her vehicle was hit. She wanted it logged for insurance purposes.

•At 10:32 a.m., a caller reported a reckless driver.

•At 12:45 p.m., someone brought in proof of insurance.

•At 1:02 p.m., a caller reported a vehicle had been parked in their lot for three months. It was on private property so the city could not tow it. Officers advised the caller of his options and the KPD will try to contact the owner.

•At 1:50 p.m., a caller reported the neighbor hit his dog with a metal pole. The community services officer checked on the dog, which appeared fine. It was well fed, clean and social.

•At 2:17 p.m., a man received a trespass notice.

•At 2:37 p.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

•At 3:18 p.m., a woman was taken into protective custody.

•At 6:37 p.m., someone brought in proof of insurance.

•At 6:59 p.m., a caller reported an intoxicated or disoriented man was walking down the street. Officers found him. He was negative for alcohol, and was just elderly.

•At 7:19 p.m., a man received a citation for no insurance.

•At 7:23 p.m., a woman was arrested for criminal mischief, fourth-degree assault and first-degree criminal trespass.

•At 7:45 p.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

•At 9:37 p.m., a caller reported a fishing vessel had been broken into. It is under investigation.

•At 10:28 p.m., officers found a vehicle that was half in a ditch and half on the road. It was unoccupied. Due to the location, officers turned it over to troopers.

Wednesday, May 29

•At 12:41 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

•At 1:03 a.m., a caller reported a man was working outside on a vehicle. Officers confirmed the man lived there.

•At 2:10 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

•At 3:02 a.m., a man received a citation for driving with a suspended license.

•At 5:42 a.m., a caller reported a man was passed out on the ground, but breathing. He did not meet protective custody criteria and went home.

•At 6:03 a.m., a man received a citation for studded tires.

•At 6:21 a.m., a man received a citation for studded tires and no proof of insurance.

•At 6:44 a.m., a man received a citation for studded tires and no proof of insurance.

•At 11:42 a.m., an officer removed debris from the roadway.

•At 1:22 p.m., a caller reported a fugitive was at a home. Occupants let officers search the home, but they did not find him. The people told officers the man had been there, but did not tell them of his whereabouts.

•At 1:47 p.m., a woman reported being bitten twice by the same dog. The woman didn’t want to press charges, but wanted the dog’s owner to be aware of the dog’s actions. The community services officer got to the scene and the dog bit her too. The dog was put on the “aggressive dog” list.

•At 4:53 p.m., a caller reported her boarder had been gone for three days, and she was concerned because he was sick. The man was found at the hospital.

•At 5:44 p.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

•At 7:03 p.m., a caller reported a large party was going on with a lot of felons. All was quiet when officers arrived.

•At 8:21 p.m., a subject was given a no camping and open container warning.

•At 9:18 p.m., a man reported he delivered food to a man who collapsed right in front of him. The resident brushed it off as nothing, but the caller wanted him checked on. Upon arrival, the resident appeared highly intoxicated, but refused any medics.

•At 11:45 p.m., a caller reported the neighbors were being very noisy, gambling and might have drugs.
