Friday, Nov. 15

• At 4:19 a.m., an officer investigated suspicious circumstances on Pillar Mountain Road. All was OK.

• At 9:33 a.m., a caller reported the neighbor’s dog was constantly barking. No one was home. The community services officer will follow up.

• At 9:34 a.m., a caller reported a dead cat. An officer disposed of it.

• At 10:02 a.m., a man reported he found a syringe. Officers disposed of it.

• At 12:39 p.m., a caller reported intoxicated people were being boisterous and making a mess. Officers told them to keep the noise down and observed no violations.

• At 1:17 p.m., an officer helped remove someone from a business on Center Avenue.

• At 1:22 p.m., an officer removed debris from the roadway on Marine Way.

• At 1:45 p.m., a caller reported a group of people was passing around a bottle of alcohol on Marine Way. No violations were observed.

• At 3:40 p.m., a caller reported a man was sleeping in the hallway. He left when officers asked him to, and was permanently trespassed.

• At 3:58 p.m., a woman went into the station to correct a traffic citation. She had a warrant and was taken to the Kodiak Jail.

• At 4:25 p.m., a caller reported they heard two people shooting bb guns at ducks. It was only the tenant downstairs practicing archery.

• At 5:03 p.m., a man was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

• At 5:56 p.m., a caller reported finding a tent. Officers planned to check back later.

• At 6:36 p.m., an officer found a wallet, but was unable to locate its owner. It was put into property.

• At 7:25 p.m., a caller reported two men were in the hallway and did not belong there. They were gone when officers arrived.

• At 10:13 p.m., dispatch received three complaints about a man and woman arguing in the street. The woman was arrested for two counts of fourth-degree domestic violence assault.

• At 10:40 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious vehicle on Rezanof Drive. It was gone when officers arrived.

Saturday, Nov. 16

• At 2:37 a.m., a man was cited for failure to register a vehicle, no proof of insurance and an expired drivers license.

• At 3:18 a.m., two people were given no camping warnings.

• At 3:36 a.m., a caller reported a vehicle was abandoned. The department will have a day shift check on it when it got lighter.

• At 10:17 a.m., a 911 caller reported a domestic argument. It was verbal only and there was no crime.

• At 10:54 a.m., two people were given no camping warnings.

• At 11:39 a.m., a caller reported damage to his vehicle.

• At 12:14 p.m., two dogs were taken to the pound.

• At 3:36 p.m., a man was permanently trespassed from a home.

• At 4 p.m., a caller reported four tires were stolen from his backyard.

• At 4:23 p.m., an abandoned vehicle on Natalia Way was red-tagged.

• At 5:05 p.m., a caller reported a loose dog on Russian Creek Road. It ran home, so the community services officer spoke with the owner about not letting it run loose.

• At 6:06 p.m., a man was cited for no proof of insurance.

• At 6:50 p.m., a cab driver reported dropping off a woman who went inside to get money and never returned. Officers spoke with her and she paid the driver.

• At 7:02 p.m., a woman was cited for no proof of insurance.

• At 8:28 p.m., a caller reported his friend’s vehicle was damaged while parked.

• At 9:24 p.m., a man reported he and a friend were walking their dogs and a bear charged at them. It appeared to be a juvenile bear. The bear was gone when officers arrived, but the mess it made at the dumpster was still there.

• At 9:47 p.m., a man was cited for driving with a restricted license and no insurance.

• At 9:49 p.m., a caller reported the neighbor’s dog was barking again. No one was home. The community services officer will check back.

• At 10:22 p.m., an officer investigated a suspicious vehicle on Mill Bay Road. All was OK.
