• At 12:38 a.m., an officer investigated suspicious circumstances on Center Avenue. A person left upon officer request.

• At 6:18 a.m., a man received a citation for no insurance on Mill Bay Road.

• At noon, an officer was out with a dog off its leash on Rezanof Drive.

• At 12:03 p.m., a caller reported a vehicle was speeding and passing on Rezanof Drive. Patrol was advised.

• At 1:21 p.m., a caller reported a vehicle was in the way on Von Scheele Way.

• At 2:09 p.m., an officer red-tagged an abandoned vehicle on Alder Lane.

• At 2:14 p.m., a 911 caller reported a woman was being violent and throwing things on Rezanof Drive.

• At 2:16 p.m., an officer on Marine Way was flagged down by a citizen who found a hypodermic needle in the road.

• At 7:55 p.m., a stun gun was found and entered into found property.

• At 11:03 p.m., a caller reported an intoxicated man was walking in the middle of Mill Bay Road. He was gone on arrival.

• At 11:35 p.m., an officer removed debris from Rezanof Drive.

Tuesday, Sept. 18

• At 12:28 a.m., an officer removed debris from Mill Bay Road.

• At 12:33 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 1:05 a.m., a man turned himself in at the Kodiak Police Department. He was arrested for disorderly conduct.

• At 1:41 a.m., a man was arrested on Mill Bay Road for DUI.

• At 4:20 a.m., a caller reported an intoxicated man was getting into his vehicle on Mill Bay Road. He was gone on arrival.

• At 6:47 a.m., a caller reported a man was sitting on a bench and was not responsive. He told officers he was just getting out of the rain.

• At 9:28 a.m., a caller reported possible campers on Benny Benson Drive. Patrol was advised.

• At 9:44 a.m., a caller reported a loose dog on Selief Lane. The officer was unable to catch it.

• At 10:15 a.m., an officer found a skinny dog tied to a tree. The owner said he wouldn’t do anything about it. Animal control will follow up since they received three separate complaints the same day.

• At 11:07 a.m., a vehicle received a citation for a parking offense on Rezanof Drive.

• At 11:31 a.m., a caller reported a motor vehicle accident on Hemlock Street. There was minor damage and it was on private property.

• At 11:41 a.m., a corrections officer at the jail requested another officer to speak with an inmate.

• At 11:58 a.m., an abandoned vehicle was red-tagged on Pillar Mountain Road.

• At 12:28 p.m., an officer gave a leash law warning on Trident Way.

• At 12:59 p.m., the corrections officer at the jail requested assistance with an inmate “going crazy.” The corrections officer was assaulted and filed charges.

• At 1:43 p.m., the corrections officer at the jail requested officer assistance for an unruly inmate.

• At 3:32 p.m., a man received a citation for no proof of insurance on Mill Bay Road.

• At 3:42 p.m., a vehicle received a citation for a parking offense on Shelikof Street.

• At 3:46 p.m., a vehicle received a citation for a parking offense on Shelikof Street.

• At 5:14 p.m., a caller reported rocks were starting to slide into the road on Rezanof Drive. None were in the road when officers arrived, but they will keep an eye on it.

• At 7:05 p.m., a caller reported a vehicle was speeding and almost rolled on Trident Way. It was gone on arrival.

• At 11:15 p.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 11:41 p.m., a 911 caller reported he was awakened by a woman screaming. The woman and another man were arguing and she threatened to jump off the pier. She was taken into police custody.
