• At 8:46 a.m., a caller reported a very large bear had been in a parking lot on the 3000 block of East Rezanof Drive on and off for a few days. Officers notified the Alaska Department of Fish and Game and Alaska State Troopers.

• At 9:17 a.m., a caller turned in drug paraphernalia and officers disposed of it.

• At 9:57 a.m., a caller requested a man be given a trespass warning from a Mill Bay Road property. Officers will give a man the warning when they see him.

• At 10:18 a.m., an officer impounded a loose dog on Lilly Drive.

• At 10:44 a.m., a caller turned in a found camera. It was placed into property.

• At 11:48 a.m., a caller reported his wallet was missing or stolen. It is under investigation.

• At 12:11 p.m., a caller reported a reckless driver on Mill Bay Road. Officers were unable to locate the driver.

• At 1:25 p.m., a caller reported fraudulent charges to his bank account.

• At 3:51 p.m., a woman was arrested for a bench warrant.

• At 4:12 p.m., a caller reported a tire was stolen from his yard on Willow Street.

• At 5:04 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious person on Shelikof Street. Officers were unable to locate the man.

• At 6:04 p.m., a caller thought she saw a wanted person. It was not the right person.

• At 6:34 p.m., a caller reported a vehicle was parked on the sidewalk on Larch Street. It was gone when officers arrived.

• At 7:08 p.m., a caller reported a dog was missing but called back to report it had been found.

• At 8:34 p.m., a caller reported a strange vehicle was in a Mill Bay Road parking lot. The driver left when officers asked him to.

Tuesday, Nov. 26

• At 6:07 a.m., a caller reported a dog somewhere had been barking for more than an hour. The problem solved itself.

• At 6:56 a.m., a 911 caller reported a driver was swerving and speeding on Thorsheim Street. Officers did not observe any violations.

• At 9:38 a.m., a caller reported a driver was going five to 10 miles per hour on Mill Bay Road. Officers had no contact with the vehicle.

• At 10:45 a.m., a woman requested to speak with an officer regarding reckless driving on Erskine Avenue.

• At 11:06 a.m., a caller reported a young man was walking down Mill Bay Road inhaling from an aerosol can. Officers found the man, who confirmed he had been huffing but knew there was no statute against walking while impaired.

• At 11:43 a.m., an abandoned vehicle on Armstrong Avenue was red-tagged.

• At 12:20 p.m., a caller reported seeing a man resembling a wanted person. Officers had no contact with the man.

• At 12:25 p.m., a caller requested KPD tow a vehicle in their parking lot. It was on private property.

• At 12:58 p.m., a man called to say there was a puppy at his fence. The dog had a collar with the owner’s phone number. The man called and the owner picked up the dog.

• At 1:22 p.m., a caller reported a man was sleeping in the recycle bin on Marine Way.

• At 1:25 p.m., an officer was with a disabled vehicle on Shelikof Street. A tow truck had been called.

• At 5:33 p.m., a caller reported a woman was hitting a man across the street on Shelikof Street. The man had multiple injuries and the woman was arrested for fourth-degree domestic violence assault.

• At 7:15 p.m., a caller reported a loose dog on Hillside Drive.

• At 10:20 p.m., an officer was with a disabled vehicle on Larch Street.
