• At 10:15 a.m., an officer found a skinny dog tied to a tree. The owner said he wouldn’t do anything about it. Animal control will follow up since they received three separate complaints the same day.

• At 11:07 a.m., a vehicle received a citation for a parking offense on Rezanof Drive.

• At 11:31 a.m., a caller reported a motor vehicle accident on Hemlock Street. There was minor damage and it was on private property.

• At 11:41 a.m., a corrections officer at the jail requested another officer to speak with an inmate.

• At 11:58 a.m., an abandoned vehicle was red-tagged on Pillar Mountain Road.

• At 12:28 p.m., an officer gave a leash law warning on Trident Way.

• At 12:59 p.m., the corrections officer at the jail requested assistance with an inmate “going crazy.” The corrections officer was assaulted and filed charges.

• At 1:43 p.m., the corrections officer at the jail requested officer assistance for an unruly inmate.

• At 3:32 p.m., a man received a citation for no proof of insurance on Mill Bay Road.

• At 3:42 p.m., a vehicle received a citation for a parking offense on Shelikof Street.

• At 3:46 p.m., a vehicle received a citation for a parking offense on Shelikof Street.

• At 5:14 p.m., a caller reported rocks were starting to slide into the road on Rezanof Drive. None were in the road when officers arrived, but they will keep an eye on it.

• At 7:05 p.m., a caller reported a vehicle was speeding and almost rolled on Trident Way. It was gone on arrival.

• At 11:15 p.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 11:41 p.m., a 911 caller reported he was awakened by a woman screaming. The woman and another man were arguing and she threatened to jump off the pier. She was taken into police custody.

Wednesday, Sept. 19

• At 1:03 a.m., an officer asked someone to leave a property on Mill Bay Road.

• At 1:51 a.m., a cab driver said a passenger refused to pay. It was a misunderstanding.

• At 2:44 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 10:53 a.m., a vehicle received a citation for a parking offense on Marine Way.

• At 11:19 p.m., a man reported concerns about a passenger who had violence in the past.

• At 11:48 p.m., a vehicle received a citation for a parking offense on Shelikof Street.

• At 12:10 p.m., a caller reported a vehicle was swerving all over the road. The officer found the vehicle, but there were no signs of DUI. The officer advised the elderly driver to be more careful.

• At 2:25 p.m., an abandoned vehicle was red-tagged on Marine Way.

• At 3:27 p.m., a vehicle received a citation for a parking offense on Center Avenue.

• At 3:45 p.m., a 911 caller reported a man stole her cell phone. Officer found the man, but he did not have the cell phone.

• At 4:36 p.m., a caller reported a vehicle was swerving as they drove into a parking lot on Rezanof Drive. Gone on arrival.

• At 4:49 p.m., an officer assisted with an inmate at the Kodiak Jail.

• At 8:56 p.m., an officer told a woman she must provide proof of insurance within 24 hours.

• At 9:50 p.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 11:09 p.m., a caller reported her vehicle window was broken. She suspected her ex-boyfriend, but there was no proof of who did it. The woman wanted it documented for insurance purposes.
