• At 10:50 p.m., a caller reported a loose dog was back. It ran when it saw patrol vehicles. The information was given to the community services officer.

Tuesday, May 21

• At 1:48 a.m. and 1:57 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 2:17 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Chichenof Street.

• At 2:30 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Simeonoff Street.

• At 2:31 a.m., one man was arrested for violating conditions of release and another man was arrested for no proof of insurance.

• At 7:03 a.m., a caller reported a loose dog was back again. Officers were still unable to catch it.

• At 8:05 a.m., a caller reported a dog took off running and officers were not able to catch it.

• At 8:31 a.m., a woman received a citation for speeding.

• At 9:08 a.m., a woman received a citation for having her windows tinted too dark.

• At 10:47 a.m. and 10:51 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 11:17 a.m., a woman received a citation for no proof of insurance.

• At 12:17 p.m., a caller reported a vehicle hit hers. The vehicle believed to be at fault had no damage.

• At 2:39 p.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 7:54 p.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 10:06 p.m., a caller reported neighbors were playing loud music. The complaint was unfounded.

Wednesday, May 22

• At 12:31 a.m., an officer asked two sleeping men to leave a property.

• At 1:28 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 1:56 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Chichenof Street.

• At 2:10 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Simeonoff Street.

• At 2:51 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 8:22 a.m., a caller reported a vehicle had been parked in the same place for months. The community services officer was working to contact the owner.

• At 8:32 a.m., a man received a citation for no proof of insurance.

• At 8:47 a.m., officers were out with a boat that came unhitched from a truck. The trailer was connected when officers arrived.

• At 9:30 a.m., a caller reported a disabled vehicle. A citizen jump-started it for him.

• At 9:43 a.m., a man received a citation for his windows tinted too dark.

• At 10:17 a.m., a man was arrested for a warrant.

• At 11:30 a.m., a woman lost her checks and they required her to get a new case number.

• At 11:30 a.m., a woman reported receiving harassing calls. It is under investigation.

• At 12:09 p.m., a man left a property when an officer asked him to.

• At 12:23 p.m., a caller reported her vehicle had been hit.

• At 12:29 p.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 12:36 p.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 12:42 p.m., a man received a citation for speeding.

• At 12:52 p.m., a caller reported a theft. It is under investigation.

• At 1:45 p.m., a caller reported a parking complaint. The owner moved the vehicle.

• At 5:25 p.m., a caller reported a bicycle was stolen.

• At 5:52 p.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 6:47 p.m., a 911 caller requested assistance with a man and then reported he had fled. He was gone when police arrived.

• At 6:50 p.m., a woman was arrested for failure to report to jail.

• At 7:06 p.m., a caller reported receiving a call asking for money.

• At 7:45 p.m., a woman was arrested for criminal trespass and was permanently trespassed from a building.

• At 8:01 p.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

Thursday, May 23

• At 12:18 a.m., a loose dog fled from officers.

• At 1:02 a.m., 3:17 a.m. and 3:26 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 4:07 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Chichenof Street.

• At 7:06 a.m., a caller reported finding a plunger part of a syringe. Officers properly disposed of it.

• At 9:35 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 1:32 p.m., a caller reported finding people in the restrooms smoking marijuana. They were gone when officers arrived.

• At 1:43 p.m., a caller reported vehicles were parking in the taxi stands. All was OK when officers arrived.

• At 2:51 p.m., a woman was arrested for two counts of violating conditions of release.

• At 4:58 p.m., 5:02 p.m., 8:33 p.m., and 8:47 p.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 6:48 p.m., a caller reported a man was violating conditions of release. Officers were unable to locate the man.

• At 10:06 p.m., a man was warned that his license was suspended.

Friday, May 24

•At 1:05 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

•At 3:01 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Chichenof Street.

•At 3:30 a.m., a 911 caller reported a man was sleeping in a lobby. He left when an officer asked him to.

•At 3:34 a.m., a man reported seeing another man tearing the plastic off the back of a vehicle. From evidence it looked like it was used for homeless people. The owner was given a no camping warning.

•At 4:28 a.m. and 5:38 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

•At 10:41 a.m., a caller reported a vehicle was driving all over the road. Officers were unable to locate the described vehicle.

•At 10:42 a.m., an officer impounded a loose dog.

•At 11:06 a.m., an officer contacted an owner and told him he cannot leave his vehicle on city property and mark it for sale.

•At 12:04 p.m., an officer gave a man a warning about an open container law.

•At 1:12 p.m., a caller reported a man was sleeping under some fuel tanks. He was intoxicated, but did not meet protective custody criteria.

•At 1:37 p.m., a caller reported two men were fighting. One was gone when officers arrived and the other left when an officer asked him to.

•At 2:14 p.m., a man was arrested for having an open container.

•At 4:32 p.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

•At 4:47 p.m., a caller reported a man was texting her, which violated his domestic violence restraining order. Charges were forwarded to the district attorney.

•At 4:54 p.m., a caller reported a man has been having suicidal ideations. Officers checked on the man several times through the night.

•At 5:12 p.m., an officer reported the text messages from a previous case indicated a man was suicidal. Officers contacted him and he told them he was fine.

•At 6:45 p.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

•At 6:48 p.m., an intoxicated person left a property when an officer asked him to.

•At 6:58 p.m., a man was arrested for having an open container.

•At 7:03 p.m., a 911 caller reported two vehicles were driving more than 100 mph away from town. Officers were on another call, but informed Alaska State Troopers.

•At 7:36 p.m., a caller reported a vehicle was parked in the middle of the road with no one around it. It was gone when officers arrived.

•At 7:50 p.m., a man was trespassed from an establishment.

•At 8:07 p.m., a caller reported a group of about six people had open containers.

•At 8:22 p.m., an officer tried to catch loose dogs. Both dogs ran away from the officer.

•At 9:23 p.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

•At 9:24 p.m., a woman was arrested for an open container.

•At 9:32 p.m., a caller reported his vehicle was stolen. It was found parked nearby with no damage.

•At 9:33 p.m., a man didn’t meet protective custody criteria and left when an officer asked him to.

•At 10:20 p.m. and 10:37 p.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

•At 11:28 p.m., a 911 caller reported a fight. Everyone was gone when officers arrived.

•At 11:41 p.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

Saturday, May 25

• At 1:04 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 1:12 a.m., a 911 caller reported three people were laying on the sidewalk. One had fallen and the others were helping.

• At 1:47 a.m., 1:50 a.m., and 3:23 a.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way.

• At 4:37 a.m., a man was given a warning for urinating in public.

• At 6:19 a.m., a man was taken into protective custody.

• At 9:15 a.m., a citizen requested information from an officer.

• At 9:30 a.m., an officer was on patrol at Crab Fest.

• At 10:43 a.m., a man was arrested for driving without a valid license and no insurance.

• At 12:30 p.m., a caller reported a vehicle hit a fire hydrant. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived. Public works and the fire department were notified.

• At 12:59 p.m., 4:31 p.m., and 5:07 p.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine way.

• At 3:40 p.m., a man reported he lost his wallet.

• At 5:24 p.m., a woman was warned by a citizen that a DUI was going to happen so she turned her keys over to someone else to drive.

• At 6:22 p.m., an officer asked a man at Crab Fest to put out a cigarette.

• At 7:02 p.m., a caller reported an intoxicated man had been walking back and forth. Patrol was advised.

• At 10:04 p.m., someone brought in proof of insurance.

• At 10:30 p.m. and 10:49 p.m., an officer was on foot patrol on Marine Way

• At 11:06 p.m., an officer investigated a suspicious vehicle on Alimaq Drive. All was OK.
