Man faces charges in separate cases involving vehicle theft, fraud

The Kodiak District Attorney’s Office filed charges against 35-year-old Kodiak resident Jacob Bernet on Tuesday in two separate cases — one involving vehicle theft and a second including theft and credit card fraud.

According to court documents, a Kodiak resident contacted the Kodiak Police Department on March 15 to report that Barnet had been fraudulently using her son’s credit card.
