SEPT. 17

• At approximately 2:21 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a call of a disturbance. Investigation ongoing.

• At approximately 3:43 p.m., the Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak assisted an individual in updating their contact information on their required Sex Offender Registration.

• Dennis Kocher, 68, from Libby, Montana, was issued two citation by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Kodiak Post for failure to release a snagged silver salmon with a set bail at $140.00, and one for retaining an over-limit of three silver salmon with a set bail at $180.00, for a total of $320.00 in the Kodiak Courts.

 

SEPT. 18

• At approximately 1:57 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a 911 call regarding a disturbance in Kodiak. AST responded and provided an individual a courteous transport back to their residence.

• At approximately 9:55 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of a domestic violence assault in Larsen Bay (Kodiak Island Borough). Alaska State Troopers responded and Paul Clampffer, 41 years old of Kodiak, was arrested for assault in the fourth degree. Clampffer was remanded to Kodiak Jail.

• At approximately 11:07 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a call regarding a missing dog. The individual was instructed to call Animal Control.

• At approximately 7:24 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of property damage in Kodiak. Investigation ongoing.

• Jason Sucher, 50, from Orem, Utah, was issued a citation by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Kodiak Post, for failure to release a snagged silver salmon. Bail is set at $140.00 in the Kodiak Courts.

• Brady Jack, 20, from Huntington Beach, California, was issued a citation by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Kodiak Post, for failure to release a snagged silver salmon. Bail is set at $140.00 in the Kodiak Courts.

 

SEPT. 19

• At approximately 5:50 a.m., the Alaska State Troopers received an anonymous report stating an individual on drugs was causing a disturbance in Kodiak. The caller was concerned about the subject's well-being. AST responded to find that the subject had left the scene already. No further complaints.

• At approximately 6:21 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of property damage in Kodiak. AST responded, investigation ongoing. 

• Collin Williams, 26, of Kaneohe, Hawaii, was issued two citations by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Kodiak Post: one correctable citation for sport fishing without license in possession, which he has 30 days to take care of or bail is set at $220.00. The second citation was for failure to release a snagged silver salmon, which has a set bail of $140.00 in the Kodiak Courts.

 

SEPT. 20

• Corey Roberson, 33, of Anchorage was issued a citation by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Kodiak Post for failure to release two snagged silver salmon. Bail is set at $160.00 in the Kodiak Courts.

 

SEPT. 21 

• At 8:03 p.m., the Alaska State Troopers received a call regarding a possible sexual assault in the Kodiak Island Borough. Investigation is on-going. 

• At approximately 11:39 p.m., the Alaska State Troopers received a call about a disturbance in Kodiak. AST and KPD responded to investigate. Upon investigation, it was revealed that no crimes were committed.

 

SEPT. 24

• At 4:42 a.m., Kodiak Alaska State Troopers received an accidental 911 call.

• At approximately 12:46 p.m., the Alaska State Troopers attempted to follow up with an individual in Kodiak regarding domestic violence.

• At approximately 12:52 p.m., the Kodiak Alaska State Troopers responded to a public assist involving a pig in a vehicle. Animal Control notified.

• At approximately 1:22 p.m., Kodiak Alaska State Troopers  received a call regarding a possible trespass. AST responded.

• At approximately 4:22 p.m., Kodiak Alaska State Troopers received a report of a reckless driver. AST to patrol area to locate subjects.

• At approximately 4:26 p.m., Kodiak Alaska State Troopers received a call regarding an individual that was trespassing on their property.

• At approximately 5:47 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of dangerous road conditions. Road construction was using proper signage.

• At approximately 10:11 p.m., the Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence in Kodiak for a welfare check.

 

SEPT. 26

 • At approximately 10:30 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report regarding a request for a welfare check in Kodiak.

 • At approximately 10:51 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of a trespassing in Kodiak. Troopers responded and advised Randy Shugiak of a 90-day trespass from trailers 21 and 9.

• At approximately 1:13 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a call regarding a civil issue. Troopers attempted to contact involved parties.

• At approximately 4:11 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak served an arrest warrant on John Bolton, 49 years old of Anchorage, for misconduct involving controlled substances in the third degree — manufacture/deliver. Bolton was taken into custody, transported to Kodiak Jail and remanded on $5,000 cash bail.

• At approximately 5:47 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a call regarding an abandoned vehicle in Kodiak. Troopers responded.

 

SEPT. 27 

• At approximately 7:51 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report for a welfare check.

 

SEPT. 29

• At approximately 5:22 a.m., the Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a call about potential stalking. Troopers advised the complainant of their options.

• At approximately 8:22 a.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a call requesting a welfare check. Investigation ongoing.

• At approximately 9:02 a.m., the Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a call regarding a civil issue. Troopers spoke with the complainant about their options.

• At approximately 2:07 p.m., the Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a call requesting assistance regarding a social security scam. Information was provided.

• At approximately 2:54 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a request for a welfare check. Troopers responded and the individual is okay.

• At approximately 5:12 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a request for a welfare check on an individual. Troopers responded and the individual was okay.

• At approximately 5:17 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a call for information regarding gun laws.

 • At approximately 6:34 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a call regarding a vehicle theft. The vehicle was reclaimed by the owner.

• On 6:56 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a report for a patrol request regarding dumpster divers.

    

SEPT. 30

 • At approximately 8:30 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of suspicious circumstances in Kodiak. Investigation is ongoing.

• At approximately 10:27 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of possible trespassing. No crimes were found during the investigation.

 • At approximately 11:01 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a request for medical assistance. Investigation revealed there was an error with the person’s Life Alert system.

• At approximately 3:52 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a request for patrol in Kodiak.

• At approximately 6:19 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of a possible burglary/trespass. Troopers responded and met with the complainant. The subjects were located nearby, and were given a 1-year trespass of the property.

• At approximately 8:39 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a call regarding a stray dog in Kodiak. Kodiak Police Department responded.
