Thomas C. Hutton, 35, of Soldotna, pleaded guilty to three misdemeanor fish game violations, making false statements on a license application, unlawful possession or transport of big game and hunting without a nonresident big game tag. He was fined $11,000 with $10,000 suspended and ordered to pay a $50 police training surcharge. Hutton is on probation until March, 31, 2018.
Carlos Guerrero Lanada, 43, of Kodiak, pleaded guilty to two class A misdemeanors for drug misconduct and one misdemeanor for being a felon in possession of a weapon. He was sentenced to time served (35 days) and has a 265-day suspended sentence. He was ordered to pay a $10,000 fine with $9,000 suspended and to pay a $50 police training surcharge. The state dismissed one class B felony charge against Lanada. It was for possessing a weapon while committing a drug crime. Lanada was ordered to have a substance abuse assessment and to complete whatever treatment plan is recommended. He is to submit proof of treatment to the court within 180 days. Lanada is not allowed to possess a weapon during his probation.
Nicholi Boskofsky, Jr., 40, address unknown, pleaded guilty for failing to register as a sex offender. He was sentenced to serve 60 days in jail and pay $100 in surcharges for jail and police training.
Leona Haakanson-Crow, 53, of Kodiak, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault, a class A misdemeanor. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail and to pay $100 in jail and police training surcharges.
Sara Woods, 32, of Kodiak, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 30 days suspended and fined $1,000 and ordered to pay the fine no later than September 9, 2017. She was ordered to pay $100 in police training and jail surcharges. An additional $100 jail surcharged was suspended. Woods was placed on probation until March, 30, 2018 and ordered to have no contact with one person and to pay on fines and surcharges on time.
Lorean Bircher, 20, of Kodiak, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, a class B misdemeanor. She was ordered to pay a $50 jail surcharge. She was placed on probation until September 30, 2017.
