The deadline for submitting proposals to change statewide hunting and trapping regulations is coming up in just more than three weeks.
Only regulations that will affect statewide regulations will be accepted by the Alaska Board of Game.
Some of the regulations open to changes “include: permits; licenses; harvest tickets, tags and harvest reports; methods and means; possession, transportation and use of game; intensive management and predator control; definitions; emergency taking of game; and descriptions of game management units,” according to a release from the Board of Game.
The deadline is 5 p.m. on May 1.
The submitted proposals will be considered at the March 18-28, 2016, Board of Game meeting in Fairbanks.
