As of Friday, access to the Kodiak Daily Mirror’s new website will be limited to paid subscribers.

The comprehensive online version of the Mirror debuted a month ago offering free access. It includes all the local content of the paper version, plus features available only online.

Subscribers to the paper version get access to the website with their subscription. Readers may also purchase online-only subscriptions for about half the price of the paper subscription.

For more information or to buy a subscription, visit and select “Subscribe” from the menu.

The Daily Mirror online updates at noon on publishing days. All local content, such as news articles, columns and classified ads, appear on the site. Exclusive web features include photos of the day, weekly polls, and staff blogs with behind-the-scenes stories and prize contests.

The website makes it easy for readers to interact with newspaper staff and each other through news tips, comments and submissions.
