Alysa Horn and Osnabruck stayed alive in the Bundesliga second division women’s basketball playoffs with a 52-51 semifinal win over Veilchen on Saturday in Germany.

The victory tied the best-of-3 series at 1-1. Game 3 is Saturday, May 2. The winner advances to the league finals.

Horn scored 10 points on 5 of 12 shooting and grabbed five rebounds in 23 minutes.

This is Horn’s first season with Osnabruck and second season as a professional in Germany.

Green River Community College’s Josh Obas produced a pair of top 20 finishes at the Western Washington University Vernnachia Open Track and Field Meet on Saturday in Bellingham, Washington.

Obas, a freshman, placed 18th in the 100-meter run with a time of 11.52 seconds and 19th in the 200 with a mark of 23.57.
