• At 1:31 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak assisted an individual with their annual sex offender registration.

• At 3:21 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a report of a vehicle collision. Troopers responded.

• At 3:50 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a request for information. Troopers advised to contact Military Police.

• At 7:51 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak attended a meeting at the School District.

• At 12:21 a.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a report for a patrol request. Troopers responded.

• At 11:42 a.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a report regarding a 911 hang-up call. Troopers responded.

• At 11:52 a.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a report for a patrol request at the Polar Plunge. Troopers responded.

• At 2:28 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a report regarding a vehicle collision. Troopers responded.

• At 6:03 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a report regarding requesting information on fireworks. Troopers responded.

 

JAN. 2

• At 6:27 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a report of a domestic violence assault. Alaska State Troopers and Alaska Wildlife Troopers responded and arrested an individual on two counts of assault 4, and domestic violence criminal mischief 3.

• At 7:06 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a report of a vehicle collision from the Kodiak Police Department. Troopers responded.

• At 7:49 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a report of an intoxicated individual hitchhiking. Troopers and EMS responded.

 

 

JAN. 3

• At 6:32 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a report of a 911 hang-up call from Kodiak Police Department. Troopers responded.

 

JAN. 4

• At 10:08 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of a theft. Troopers responded.

• At 1:43 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak assisted Adult Probations with a case.

• At 3:14 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of request for medical assistance. Troopers and the Kodiak Police Department responded.

 

JAN. 6

• At 12:59 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of a disturbance. Troopers responded and the investigation is currently ongoing.

• At 10:21 a.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a report of a disturbance. Troopers responded.

• At 6:21 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a report of a broken-down vehicle. Troopers responded to direct traffic, and assist the motorist.

 

JAN. 7

• Valenten Shevchenko, 39 years old of Sedalia, Missouri, was issued a summons for 32 misdemeanor counts by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Kodiak Post, for making a false statement on a license application x28, for hunting without a valid license x2, and for a non-resident hunting without big-game locking tags x2. Shevchenko has a mandatory court date set for Jan. 15, 2021, at 8:30 a.m. in the Kodiak Courts.

 

JAN. 8

• At 4:20 a.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a report of a domestic violence assault in progress. Troopers responded and an individual was arrested and charged with assault 4 x5.

• At 5:29 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a report of an abandoned vehicle. Troopers responded.

• At 6:17 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a report regarding a suspicious vehicle. Troopers responded.

• At 9:45 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a report of a request for medical assistance. Troopers responded and transported the individual to the hospital. After discharge from the hospital the individual was placed into protective custody.

 

JAN. 9

• At 12:31 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a report for a patrol request. Troopers responded and patrolled the location.

• At 6:40 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a report regarding a request for an agency assist with Kodiak Police Department. Troopers responded.

• At 9:06 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak received a request to conduct a security check at a residence. Troopers responded, and all was well in the residence.
