Marine safety class free for commercial Fishermen

The Alaska Marine Safety Education Association and Alaska Sea Grant are offering a two-day Fishing Vessel Drill Conductor class in Kodiak on May 28 and 29 –– and commercial fishermen can take part free of charge.

The class will be held at the UAF Kodiak Seafood and Marine Science Center, 118 Trident Way, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m both days. While free for commercial fishermen, the class is also open to other mariners at a cost $195 per person.
